Mechanical Engineer
PCT is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 5 plus years of experience in a related industry including paper, plastic or metal strip processing. Candidates should have strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. A design background in Solid Works is preferred with an understanding of standard drafting practices, safety standards and electrical/mechanical/industrial standards. A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from and ABET accredited school is preferred. Candidates must be able to:
- Perform process analysis of industrial finishing lines.
- Resolve problems to identify causations such as operator error, maintenance failures and design limitations.
- Design industrial machines from concept to completion.
- Size and select design components.
- Calculate loads, deflections, flows, thermal transfers, etc.
Electrical/Mechanical Production Tech
PCT has a wonderful opportunity for an electrical/mechanical production tech with 2 plus year of experience or equivalent. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional formal training and experience in industrial applications. Candidates must be able to operate power tools and hand tools, have the ability to operate a fork truck, have the ability to interpret drawings/prints and must have an understanding of electrical theory. Additional duties include:
- Interpret scope of manufacturing activities.
- Layout electrical panels; wire and assemble panels and equipment.
- Identify hardware and components.
- Test and inspect electrical and mechanical components.
- Utilize equipment assemblers for assistance.
- Oversee panel assembly through checkout.
- Provide assistance to staff in estimating time and scheduling projects.
- Provide status updates and interface to project team.
Network Administrator
PCT has a dynamic position for a Network Administrator with two years of relative experience to be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing the computer software and hardware systems for the PCT companies. This includes but is not limited to workstations and laptops, printers, servers, backups, plotter, scanners, and all electronic and digital forms of communication. Associates degree preferred. Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot, document, and provide technical support for network software and hardware.
- Utilize appropriate consultants, vendors, and manufacturers as necessary to resolve hardware and software program problems.
- Responsible for the installation of new software, software updates and maintenance releases.
- Responsible for the installation, configuration and repair work on hardware.
- Research and recommend new products; provide specifications for the purchase of hardware and software; obtain bids for purchases.

- Design, install, and maintain cabling for network connections.
- Schedule installation, networking and implementation of software and hardware.
- Monitor disk storage space and memory utilization on the file server and work-stations; scan for viruses; restore deleted files.
- Establish and maintain new users and groups on the network; establish directory rights and login scripts; monitor system files.
- Develop and maintain user procedures for company software and hardware systems.
- Maintain network location layout, storage of disks, manuals, hardware and packaging, inventories of hardware and software, bids and price quotes, service reports, replacement costs, and licensing agreements/warranty information.
- Backup Accounting department and report writing in SQL server.
- Website updates requiring JAVA Script, ASP and HTML.
- Multiple server administration including Microsoft Exchange, SQL, print, and communication server.
Marketing Specialist
PCT has created a new position for an innovative Marketing Specialist to fuel our continued growth through high impact promotional efforts. A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing plus 3 years of relative work experience is preferred. Specific duties and responsibilities include:
- Develop and refresh PCT’s promotional materials including brochures, presentations, advertisements, and web site.
- Lead our online promotional efforts such as SEO, social media, and banner advertisements.
- Generate and distribute press releases.
- Edit and produce customer newsletters.
- Identify trade show opportunities, administer PCT’s participation, create and update show materials, and at select shows will be responsible for setting up and hosting the booth.
- Research and take advantage of public relations opportunities for the company.
- Organize and lead customer events such as an open house.
- Edit technical articles for trade magazines and conferences.
- Develop and conduct targeted promotional campaigns.
- Perform market research projects.
- Coordinate certain above activities with outside vendors.
- Coordinate certain promotional efforts with partner companies.
- Assist in preparing customer proposals and letters.
