Concept Development
If you are unsure where to start or how to address a difficult problem, consider engaging PCT to develop a suitable concept. Often times this work begins with an on-site analysis of the existing process and equipment. Our team will work with your staff to collect the pertinent information and requirements. We will then create preliminary design models ("cartoons") that allow all parties to refine the ideas.
Specification Development
Often times the next step is to use the design concept to develop a detailed equipment specification. This document may include 3-D models, drawings, performance specifications and functional descriptions. This information can then be used as a basis for soliciting proposals or the project schedule can be optimized and you can directly engage PCT on a design-build contract.
Project Justification
Some customers elect to have PCT focus our efforts on generating sufficient information to evaluate the feasibility or payback of a project. This typically includes developing multiple concepts to the point that budgetary costs and expected performance can be established.
